Softball Recap: McComb Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kalida on Thursday, McComb came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Elmwood Royals on Monday, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 13-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

McComb's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Elmwood, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, McComb will head out to challenge Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elmwood, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Riverdale at 5:00 p.m.
