Baseball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

Shepherd fell victim to Hamshire-Fannett and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Shepherd's record is now 7-12. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15.

Coincidentally, Shepherd and Hamshire-Fannett will both be playing Hargrave the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Longhorns will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
