Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cuthbertson walked away with it. They never let the Lake Norman Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Cuthbertson sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Owen Swift, who's now up to five this season.

Cuthbertson's win bumped their record up to 14-6-1. As for Lake Norman, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 matches and leaves them with a 19-2-2 record.

Looking ahead, Cuthbertson will head out to take on Marvin Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuthbertson will need to watch out since Marvin Ridge have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches. Lake Norman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
