             Paraclete proved they can win big  two weeks ago (they won by 22) but  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors out  30-28. Winning may never get old, but the Spirits sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Paraclete's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Joseph Mesa, who threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 35 yards. Mesa's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 307  passing yards.  Adrian Jones was  Mesa's top target, picking up 168 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 When it comes to explaining why St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy lost, don't look at  Jassi Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 183 yards and a touchdown.
 Paraclete's record is now 4-2. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
 Paraclete has already played their next contest,  a  41-30  loss against Cathedral on the 11th. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  29-20  defeat against St. Paul on the 11th.
