Softball Recap: Glen Rose Takes a Loss

Glen Rose saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 8-5 to the Greenwood Rangers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glen Rose saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marki Sandlin, who went a perfect2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another was Brooklynne Yant, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Glen Rose's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Greenwood, their record is now 4-2.

Coming up, Glen Rose will host Alvarado at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Glen Rose is facing Alvarado at the right time seeing as Alvarado is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Greenwood, they will take on Canyon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
