Baseball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Takes a Loss

North Bay Haven Academy lost against Freeport back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 16-2. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Bay Haven Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Simmons, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

North Bay Haven Academy now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Freeport, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

North Bay Haven Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Malone on the 9th. As for Freeport, they will be playing at home against Munroe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are on an 11-game streak of home wins, the Bobcats a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
