Softball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Sandusky unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 13-3 to the Norwalk Truckers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Truckers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 back in April.

Sandusky saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Akiyla Jones, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Norwalk, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandusky will face off against rival Bellevue at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norwalk is set to challenge their familiar foe Perkins at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
