The Patriots will be taking part in a tournament against the Warriors at 9:00 a.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association sitting on 11 straight wins and Wake County HomeSchool on three.
Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Memphis Home Education Association. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly four runs.

Pierson GOODMAN and Collin FELTS did most of the damage at the plate: GOODMAN got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI, while FELTS got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. FELTS is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah PULLING, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Wake County HomeSchool won against Mansfield Homeschool on Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Warriors came out on top against St. Louis HomeSchool P by a score of 9-4.
Wake County HomeSchool also got a great performance from Eli Dadisman as he struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Dadisman a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jace Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Avery Martin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's win bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Wake County HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Wake County HomeSchool struggles in that department as they've averaged .435.
