Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Copperas Cove). They never let the Killeen Kangaroos onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldawgs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

They hit Killeen with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ailene Rodarte (2), Trinity Garcia (2), Ava Shorey, and Emma Sheon.

Copperas Cove's win bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Killeen, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Copperas Cove will challenge Bryan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bryan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Killeen, they will square off against Harker Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Harker Heights' last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
