Basketball Game Preview: Fordham Prep Rams vs. UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs

The Fordham Prep Rams and the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Fordham Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Fordham Prep turned things around against Wausau West on Friday. They skirted past the Warriors 38-35. The 38-point effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

It was another big night for Brian Kapfer, who went 7 of 16 en route to 21 points. His morning made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan McElhatton, who posted four points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, UMS-Wright Prep posted their biggest win since November 7th on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tournament Opponent 72-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The victory got Fordham Prep back to even at 4-4. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
