Volleyball Recap: Centaurus Falls Short of Castle View in the Playoffs

Centaurus and Castle View squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Centaurus had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabercats. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Kate Erickson had a dynamite game For Castle View., getting 11 digs and six aces. What's more, Erickson posted two assists, the most she's had since back in October.

Centaurus' loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Castle View, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Centaurus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Castle View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Valor Christian on the 8th.
