Wylie had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Sachse Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wylie was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-5.

Jolene Bao had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 11 matchups.

Wylie's win bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Sachse, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-14.

Coming up, Wylie will head out on the road to challenge North Forney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sachse, they will face off against South Garland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
