Baseball Recap: Terra Linda Takes a Loss

Terra Linda pushed their score to seven the last time they played Tamalpais, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. Terra Linda fell 4-0 to Tamalpais. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 14-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Terra Linda saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Rambo, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Thomas Martinez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Terra Linda is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. As for Tamalpais, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

While Terra Linda had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
