Soccer Recap: Muhlenberg County Comes Up Short

Muhlenberg County lost against Hopkinsville back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs came up short against the Tigers, falling 6-0. Considering the last time Muhlenberg County couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Muhlenberg County's loss dropped their record down to 12-4-2. As for Hopkinsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Muhlenberg County will host Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hopkinsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
