Soccer Recap: North Surry vs. East Surry
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilkes Central, North Surry was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Surry Cardinals a 1-0 shutout. North Surry's winning goal came courtesy of Kimberly Elias Hernandez.
North Surry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. As for East Surry, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
North Surry will head out on the road to challenge Forbush at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Surry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilkes Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
