Volleyball Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian Takes a Loss

Central Wisconsin Christian lost against Parkview back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. While the Crusaders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-11 in the first set.

Central Wisconsin Christian actually scored more points across those three sets (58-51), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 11-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Their offense was headlined by Kiley Beer and Abigail TenNapel, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Hannah Abel and her 14 assists. Beer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Central Wisconsin Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Parkview, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-1.

Central Wisconsin Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Gibraltar on the 29th. As for Parkview, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wisconsin Heights on the 29th.
