Soccer Recap: Grand Canyon Takes a Loss

Grand Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Northland Prep Academy Spartans. If Grand Canyon were looking for revenge after losing 4-2 to Northland Prep Academy when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grand Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Northland Prep Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Grand Canyon will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Camp Verde at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Northland Prep Academy, they will be playing at home against Red Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
