Soccer Recap: Summit Comes Up Short

If Summit was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Nolensville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans came up short against the Ravenwood Raptors on Thursday, falling 3-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Summit couldn't quite close it out.

Summit dropped their record down to 5-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ravenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Summit will take on Battle Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ravenwood, they will face off against Montgomery Bell Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Bell Academy's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Ravenwood's offense will have their work cut out for them.
