Softball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville lost against Central Mountain back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ironmen lost 13-3 to the Wildcats. The Ironmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brynn Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Central Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Danville will square off against rival Jersey Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Mountain is set to face off against their familiar foe Selinsgrove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
