Preview: Sumrall vs. Enterprise
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Enterprise should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Sumrall on the road at SUMRALL AC at 7:00 PM. Sumrall will be strutting in after a win while Enterprise will be stumbling in from a defeat.
The match between Enterprise and Stringer last week was not a total blowout, but with Enterprise falling 18-33, it was darn close. Enterprise got a solid performance out of Zack Kyle, who rushed for 96 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
Meanwhile, Sumrall was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were the clear victor with a 33-6 margin. The Sumrall offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
Enterprise's loss took them down to 0-3 while Sumrall's win pulled them up to 3-0. In their victory, Sumrall relied heavily on senior Dannis Jackson, who picked up 41 yards on the ground and accumulated 113 passing yards; a key strategy for Enterprise will lie in finding a way to minimize his impact.
