Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Eagles vs. SEED

Having just played yesterday, the Northeast Eagles will head out on the road to face off against SEED at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Northeast is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Annapolis on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Northeast came up short against Annapolis, falling 44-22. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brynn Jones, who posted eight points along with eight boards and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 25 times she's played. Another player making a difference was London Jeffers, who scored three points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, SEED came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 45-21 win on Monday.

SEED's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
