Recap: Byron Nelson vs. Keller Central
The Byron Nelson Bobcat can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Keller Central a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Byron Nelson also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Grace Berry and
Tano Uzezi-Itesa, who scored all three of Byron Nelson's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 23 so far this season.
Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Keller Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byron Nelson will take on Southlake Carroll at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Southlake Carroll will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Byron Nelson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Keller Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Timber Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
