Football Recap: Hillsborough Comes Up Short on the Road Against Riverview + How To Watch

Hillsborough had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Riverview Sharks by a score of 21-18 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Although Hillsborough took the loss, they still got scores from Jacob Plaisir and Derrell Hines.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 16 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Plaisir, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Hillsborough wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-7 defeat against East Bay on the 29th. As for Riverview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-7 loss against Riverview Sarasota on the 29th.
