Basketball Game Preview: Alcester-Hudson Cubs vs. Centerville Tornadoes

Alcester-Hudson and Centerville are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Alcester-Hudson Cubs will take on the Centerville Tornadoes at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alcester-Hudson is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They walked away with a 40-33 win over Freeman Academy/Marion last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Centerville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Mobridge-Pollock by a score of 61-49.

Centerville's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Alcester-Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.

Alcester-Hudson took a serious blow against Centerville when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 73-25. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Alcester-Hudson was down 39-14.
