Soccer Recap: Magnolia West Takes a Loss

Magnolia West lost against Klein Oak back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Magnolia West Mustangs lost 6-0 to the Klein Oak Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Panthers are ranked 90th).

Magnolia West has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Klein Oak and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Coming up, Magnolia West will face off against Tomball Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tomball Memorial has three straight wins, Magnolia West has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch. As for Klein Oak, they will square off against Klein at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
