Basketball Recap: Lehman Takes a Loss

Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Rouse Raiders 64-36. The Lobos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.

Lehman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilly Coronado, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds, and Lucy Polanco, who put up nine points. What's more, Polanco also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024.

Lehman's loss dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Rouse, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-13.

Lehman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-34 defeat against Hays on the 4th. As for Rouse, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-41 victory against Lockhart on the 4th.
