Softball Recap: Arleta's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

After a string of five wins, Arleta's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the San Fernando Tigers by a score of 4-2. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Arleta saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JUSTINE MEJIA, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Arleta's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for San Fernando, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Arleta is set to take on their familiar foe Chavez at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, San Fernando will square off against rival Poly at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
