Middleton had won two straight games and Tye Cornwall did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Vikings came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-68 W against the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies for which the team can thank Cornwall, who shot 5-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double with 36 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 48.3% three-point shooting accuracy.

Another player making a difference was Robbie Baird, who posted 11 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Middleton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rocky Mountain, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middleton will be home for the holidays to greet Kuna at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Kavemen have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Rocky Mountain, they will host Boise at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
