The Brookfield Academy Blue Knights won the last time they faced the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Brookfield Academy breezed by Kenosha Christian Life at home to the tune of 75-35.
Brookfield Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luci Jensen led the charge by scoring 18 points. The matchup was Jensen's third in a row with at least ten points. Amelia Rigel was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Brookfield Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kenosha Christian Life, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Brookfield Academy will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Living Word Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Living Word Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Monday.
