Basketball Game Preview: Greeley County Jackrabbits vs. Wallace County Wildcats

The Greeley County Jackrabbits will venture away from home to face off against the Wallace County Wildcats on Tuesday. Greeley County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Wallace County likes a good challenge.

Greeley County fought the good fight in their overtime game against Quinter back in December of 2024 but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 72-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Jackrabbits' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Wallace County can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-46 win over Rawlins County.

Wallace County's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Greeley County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Greeley County suffered a grim 60-40 defeat to Wallace County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Greeley County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
