Softball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Seminary's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After a string of eight wins, Michigan Lutheran Seminary's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 6-1 to the Hemlock Huskies. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kerin Gardner, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary's loss dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Hemlock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Michigan Lutheran Seminary will face off against Montrose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hemlock, they will take on New Lothrop at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
