Baseball Recap: Barren County Trojans vs. South Warren Spartans
Barren County fell victim to South Warren and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Colten Wilson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
