Basketball Recap: Lake Mary Takes a Loss

Lake Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole Seminoles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-44 back in December of 2024.

Lake Mary's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Seminole, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Mary will welcome Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seminole, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East River at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East River will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Seminole surely won't give up without a fight.
