Volleyball Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon lost against Chapin back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Scorpions fell 2-0 to the Huskies. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leilah Williams paced Horizon's offense, picking up six kills. Williams were helped by Sarah Reyes and Casey Zambrano, who contributed two assists each.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chapin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Horizon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Loretto on the 14th. As for Chapin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against San Elizario on the 14th.
