The Farragut Admirals will square off against the Crescent Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Farragut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Farragut is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Gibbs, who was ranked second at the time (Farragut was ranked 11th). Farragut won by a run and slipped past Gibbs 5-4.

Hallie Grace Johnson spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on ten hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Eleena Ralston was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Effy Armstrong, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Crescent suffered their biggest loss since May 13, 2024 on Sunday. They lost 11-2 to Scott County. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Tigers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Farragut pushed their record up to 16-4-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Crescent, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Farragut came out on top in a nail-biter against Crescent when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 1-0. Will Farragut repeat their success, or does Crescent has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
