Basketball Recap: Junipero Serra Comes Up Short

Junipero Serra lost to Archbishop Mitty on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Padres fell 57-45 to the Monarchs. The Padres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Junipero Serra's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Archbishop Mitty, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Junipero Serra is set to challenge their familiar foe Archbishop Riordan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Mitty will face off against rival Bellarmine College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
