Softball Recap: Red Bud Musketeers vs. Triad Knights
Red Bud won the last time they faced Triad, and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Bud Musketeers had just enough and edged the Triad Knights out 4-3.
Alexis Koester was excellent, going 2-for-2 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double. Lyla Hess was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
The win got Red Bud back to even at 4-4. As for Triad, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Red Bud will be playing at home against Crab Orchard at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
