Basketball Recap: Forest Lake Christian Starts off Right with Win over Chesterton Academy of Sacramento

Forest Lake Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-16 win over the Chesterton Academy of Sacramento Saints. The Falcons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 25, 2024 (when they won 74-31).

Brendan Hooper had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten steals. The game was his third in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Stosen, who posted 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Looking ahead, Forest Lake Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Bear River at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chesterton Academy of Sacramento, they will square off against Encina at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
