Recap: Hamilton Big Blue vs. Fairfield Indians
The Hamilton Big Blue's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight loss. They took a hard 55-40 fall against Fairfield. While losing is never fun, Hamilton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 565th, while Fairfield is ranked 205th).
Myka Richardson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fairfield, scoring 15 points along with six steals. Richardson hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Kayla McCoy was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Hamilton bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fairfield, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lakota West at 1:45 p.m. on January 20th. Lakota West will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
