Football Preview: West Greene Buffaloes vs. South Greene Rebels
The West Greene Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the South Greene Rebels on Friday.
Last Friday, West Greene was beaten by Unicoi County 47-18. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 137th).
Meanwhile, South Greene waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Patriots on the road to the tune of 42-6. With the Rebels ahead 35-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
South Greene can attribute much of their success to Jacob Susong, who threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
West Greene now has a losing record at 2-3. As for South Greene, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
