Basketball Recap: Otterville Takes a Loss

Otterville was the 42-31 winner over Prairie Home when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Otterville Eagles took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie Home Panthers.

Otterville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Prairie Home, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otterville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tuscumbia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie Home, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prairie Home Panthers duke it out with the Pilot Grove Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairie Home is facing Pilot Grove at the right time seeing as Pilot Grove is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
