Tippecanoe proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Wayne Warriors 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Tippecanoe's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Eli Kettel, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Those two hits gave Kettel a new career-high.

Tippecanoe's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Wayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe will face off against Northmont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbolts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wayne, they will square off against Greenville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
