Basketball Recap: Sneads Comes Up Short

Sneads lost against Liberty County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sneads Pirates took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Liberty County Bulldogs. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty County found their leader in freshman Emmie Peddie, who posted 16 points. Haven Davis was another key player, putting up seven points.

Sneads now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Liberty County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Franklin County the next time they take the court. Liberty County will head out to face Franklin County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Sneads will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
