Softball Recap: Edgerton Takes a Loss

Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Troy Trojans. If the Crimson Tide were looking for revenge after losing 17-8 to the Trojans when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edgerton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for East Troy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.

Looking ahead, Edgerton will face off against McFarland at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for East Troy, they will challenge Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cheesemakers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
