Bellingham had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mt. Baker Mountaineers by a score of 9-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bayhawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Bellingham now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Mt. Baker, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellingham will take on Lakewood at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.2 runs per game on average), something the Bayhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mt. Baker, they will square off against Lynden at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Mountaineers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
