Baseball Recap: Everett Seagulls vs. Snohomish Panthers

Everett extended their losing streak to nine on Wednesday, dropping them down to 4-16. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Snohomish Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-4 on Monday.

Everett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Brunni, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

As for Snohomish, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games.

On Snohomish's side, Ethan Green was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Schumacher, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

As of now, neither Everett nor Snohomish have any future games scheduled.
