Basketball Recap: Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech Tigers vs. Lehi Pioneers
Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Lehi Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 207th in Florida, while the Pioneers are ranked 26th in Utah).
Lehi's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Hawkins, who posted 18 points and five rebounds. Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westminster at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Lehi and Murray will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
