Upperman had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 55-47 victory over the Greeneville Greene Devils on Friday. For the Bees, this counts as revenge for the 47-41 win the Greene Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2021.

Greeneville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Trey Thompson, who went 8-for-20 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. That was a full 40.4% of Greeneville's points, marking the fifth time in a row Thompson has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cole Franklin, who had ten points.

Upperman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season. Greeneville's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 26-12.
