Soccer Recap: Glendale Wins Going Away Against Cortez

After failing to score in their last game, Glendale made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cortez on Thursday. They blew past the Cortez Colts 8-0. It was an even better day for Mia Espinoza as she scored three goals for her team.

Glendale moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Cortez, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Glendale didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 defeat against Washington on the 14th. Cortez has also already played their next contest (against Moon Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
