Baseball Recap: Westerville Central Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Westerville Central won against Lincoln on Thursday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Warhawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Westerville North Warriors a 3-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Warhawks, who have now won three matches in a row.

Westerville Central pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Westerville North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9-1.
